Advanced Oil Particle Size Analyzer - OIL-PHOTOWAVE | China Suppliers & Factory for Wear Particle Classification

OIL-PHOTOWAVE is an advanced solution for analyzing particle size and shape in oil, specifically designed for identifying various classifications of wear particles, including Cutting, Sliding, Fatigue, Fibers, and Non-metallic types. This product is essential for suppliers and factories in China looking to ensure optimal equipment performance. Furthermore, OIL-PHOTOWAVE provides comprehensive particulate contamination grade analysis in compliance with standards such as GJB420B, NAS1638, and ISO4406, making it a valuable tool for maintaining high quality and operational efficiency in industrial applications

    Principles

The OIL-PHOTOWAVE system uses a high speed imaging technology to intelligently capture the shape of particles flowing through the flow cell. Through the intelligent training algorithm, the morphological characteristics of the wear particles ( such as equivalent diameter, morphological factor and void ratio ) are obtained, and the particles are automatically classified and counted to determine the main wear form or contamination source and determine the contamination grade of the oil, easily assess machinery health in just minutes.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Q What is the OIL-PHOTOWAVE system and how does it work?
The OIL-PHOTOWAVE system is an intelligent oil particle analysis instrument that uses high-speed imaging technology to capture and analyze the shape of particles flowing through a flow cell. Through an intelligent training algorithm, it determines morphological characteristics such as equivalent diameter, morphological factor, and void ratio, automatically classifying and counting wear particles to assess machinery health in just minutes.
Q What types of wear particles can the OIL-PHOTOWAVE system detect and classify?
The system can classify wear particles into four main categories: Cutting, Sliding, Fatigue, and Non-metallic (including water droplets, fibers, rubber, gravel, and other non-metallic particles). It detects particle shapes down to 10 um and particle sizes down to 2 um, covering a full range of 2–500 um.
Q Which contamination grade standards does the system support?
The OIL-PHOTOWAVE system supports three internationally recognized contamination grade standards: GJB420B, ISO4406, and NAS1638. This broad compatibility makes it suitable for a wide range of industrial and military applications.
Q How long does a typical oil analysis test take, and how much sample is required?
A complete oil analysis test takes only 3–5 minutes per sample. Each test requires just 20 mL of oil sample, making the process fast, efficient, and minimally invasive for routine machinery health monitoring.
Q What optional analysis modules are available for the OIL-PHOTOWAVE system?
In addition to standard wear particle and contamination grade analysis, the system offers optional modules for moisture, viscosity, temperature, and dielectric constant analysis. These multi-in-one function modes allow users to perform comprehensive oil condition monitoring in a single test session.
Q What industries and applications is the OIL-PHOTOWAVE system designed for?
The OIL-PHOTOWAVE system is designed for a wide range of industries requiring reliable lubrication oil monitoring, including ship and marine engineering, electric power generation, engineering machinery, industrial manufacturing, aviation, and railway transportation. Its robust design and wide operating temperature range (5°C to +40°C) make it suitable for demanding field environments.
